So thats why i am asking from any member who has the previus ones to help me because the developer, as it seems, wont help me. I paid for a custom Rom so that i can have access to all of the versions of the work from the developer or only the latest ones?
The version is the latest 8-6-2018 Kotix Rom, and MCU: 01705040 and FLASH: A00A, from original girmware, my model is M-053, wincacfg from the original firmware which is from Sept 14, 2017
Forum systemapp dont know what it is.

The reason that i need the previus versions is that many programs that i use (IGO, Track view, Mxplayer) started a lot faster than the latest versions. For example track view is a gps positioning app which informs about the position of the car via its gps and it has a feature when the unit turns on the app informs you at your mobile. In previus versions this happened during bootup, before full startup of the unit and now the unit starts and after about a minute or so informs you. IGO started at blazing speed and now it needs at least half a minute for fully functionality. Maybe i am doing something wrong, i dont know, maybe it has to do with the mcu, flash, i also tried with different versions with no luck. I had the previus versions in my hard drive but it crashed, so thats why i asked if anyone from the forum has the previus versions to help me.

I'm making the Android 8 ROM for mtc px5 units.
You just have to wait a little more... During Christmas holidays I have some more time to dedicate to it.

  • Ok, good news so far. One thing to clarify, is your mod going to be compatible with witson s200 units running under px5?
    thank you

No, s200 is not based on MTC platform.
      The software is totally different.

  • Been a while since I've been on this forum, but thought I'd share something that I found works well and gets away from the lagging GApps processing of the S160. I found this app "Headunit Reloaded Emulator for Android Auto" allows you to connect your phone to S160 via the USB and run the Android Auto. Trick is that you will need to have a Quick Charge 3.0 wireless charger to charge your phone for long trips since the Radio cannot supply enough power to charge you phone. It will charge wireless and communicate with Radio via the USB. I took a long road trip and Android Audio runs Google Maps or Waze without any issues while listening to my Pandora music. I was always having issues with Google Maps or Waze locking up in native mode from the Radio. This app runs everything on your phone and doesn't seem to impact the processing resources on the Radio while in Android Auto.

Below is the wireless charging setup I used.

    • Headunit Reloaded also works through wifi using the phone as hotspot, just in case you want to use your normal car charger.

      • Hi!
        Great mod! runs perfect!

Only one thing, the radio app, when i switch between statios pre-saved, duplicate the statios names in the buttons.
Example. I set 6 stations in radio memory. "Hit FM", "Europa FM", "Los40", "KISS FM", "CAD 100", "MELODIA"
Whe i press the stations buttons, the radio set correctly the radio frequency and works fine. But mix the name of the station in the button, with the name of the station of the previos station thas was selected.
Example: I press "KISS FM", the radio set the frequency correctly, then press "Europa FM", the radio set the frequency correctly, but the text of button "Europa FM" appears "KISS FM Europa FM".

Sometimes turn on the radio app, and it forget the previous station that was setted, show a random frequency called "DYNAMYS". Then Press a button of a pre-saved station, "Los 40", the radio set the frequency correctly, but the text of button "Los40" appears "DYNAMYS LOS40".

        How can i fix this?

PD: Excuse my poor english, im from spain :P

          Hi,
To fix this you should press "KISS FM Europa FM" button and then tap, hold and drag the station name from the center of the screen to the button. The button will change to the correct name and you should not have any more problems. Do the same for all of your pre-saved buttons.

          Regards, Leigh

      • Thanks Leight, you mean, drag and drop the name of the station that appears in the center of screen to the button o something like this? I will try it.

        • Hi, the development of the S160 is pretty much stopped. Thus the latest version is the one from June 2018 on the GDrive, which still is valid.
